Archivo autobiográfico filmado en Mini DV y VHS-C.

Nos pasamos el día grabando cosas para enterrarlas en el disco duro. Igual el arte del futuro tiene menos que ver con grabar más que con desenterrar imágenes y re-cordarlas, dejar que emerjan.

Utilizando como punto de partida material de archivo encontrado, VERSIONES exhuma la vieja historia familiar de la autora focalizándose especialmente en la relación frustrada entre el padre y su primer hijo y en las heridas que aún no terminan de cerrar.

We spend the whole day recording things to get them buried in a hard disk. Perhaps, future art has less to do with recording and more with unbury images and remember them, let them emerge. Using as point of departure found footage material, VERSIONES exhumes the author´s old family story focusing in the frustrated relationship between the father and his first son, furthermore in wounds that are still open.
